My Altitude is a GPS-based app that provides you with accurate information about your current location. It displays your latitude, longitude, altitude (height from sea level), barometric pressure, and water boiling point.

This app is completely free and has no limitations. However, there is an option to make an in-app purchase to remove the bottom advertisement and support the developers.

One of the great features of My Altitude is that it does not require an internet connection to function. It works best when used outdoors.

The default setting uses the device sensor to determine the elevation from sea level, but you also have the option to use NOAA data files for even more precise altitude measurements. On newer devices, using the device sensor tends to provide the most accurate results.

The app also allows you to capture a picture of your current location and save it in your photo album. The picture will be sealed with the coordinates of your current location, as well as the altitude and local date/time.

The barometric pressure is calculated based on elevation. On newer devices such as iPhone 6/6+, the app can directly access the device's built-in barometric sensor for real-time data. This behavior can be configured, and you have the option to switch back to the calculation mode if desired.
